After an incredible four weeks on the African continent, Rainer Zietlow and the Challenge4 team have completed another major chapter in their Guinness World Record attempt.
From wide green plains and wildlife habitats to busy cities and roads marked by countless potholes, Africa put the all-electric VW ID. Buzz to a demanding real world test. Across it all, the journey continued without issue – supported every kilometer by the proven strength and reliability of Maxion’s steel wheels.
With the Africa leg complete, the team has now driven more than 60,000 kilometers and visited 61 countries so far on their mission to set a new Guinness World Record for the most countries visited in a continuous zero emission vehicle journey.
