In São Paulo state sits one of Maxion Wheels’ most dynamic and innovative manufacturing hubs: 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮 — a true center of excellence for both steel and aluminum light vehicle wheels.
🏭 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽
First inaugurated in 1947, the light vehicle steel wheel plant in Limeira produces up to 13 million wheels annually, supplying major global OEMs including Stellantis, General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda, Renault and Nissan.
⚙️ 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱
To meet rising demand for aluminum wheels, an adjacent light vehicle aluminum wheel plant opened in 2016, adding capacity for an additional 3 million wheels per year — expanding Limeira’s role as a key production site for the region.

From Melbourne’s vibrant streets to Perth’s rugged coastline, Rainer Zietlow and the Challenge4 team have just completed an unforgettable leg of their Guinness World Record journey. In one week, they covered 3,000 km across Australia.
Australia brought its own challenges – long stretches of highway, remote outback roads, and changing conditions. Through it all, the VW ID. Buzz delivered consistent performance, supported every kilometer by the trusted strength and reliability of Maxion’s steel wheels.
With 50 countries behind them, the Guinness World Record attempt now turns toward a new continent. Next stop: Africa!
